Some people are seeing the light others still don’t according to new polls about Obama?

Forced government health insurance. Tax beer, pop, tobacco, bottled water, the wealthy, and health insurance benefits. Tax everything else consumed, used, or produced with the cap and trade bill. Block domestic oil production. Nationalize banks and auto companies. Spend a trillion dollars on pork and call it a stimulus program. Push for amnesty for illegals to increase your voter pool in future elections at the expense of American workers. Yep, lots of change going on but zero hope…

Don’t you think it’s wrong to pool your money with other people’s to pay medical costs for only some of them?

Shouldn’t we just use insurance instead?
Gene–You’re kidding, right? You mean people actually PAY money to insurers just IN CASE they need their medical bills paid!

Well I never! Who came up with this radical left-wing communist idea, anyway?

would just like some opinions and help about care you receive with out insurance with breast cancer?

my last doctor visit with my oncologist just kind of blew me away. he comes in and sits beside me and asked why i dont have insurance any more. so i go into the story that my husband was laid off and we have been paying cobra for 18 months and i tried to go through a risk pool to get insurance in the state of SC. but if i were able to pay 1,900.00 a month with a 1,500.00 deductable i wouldnt need insurance. why is it when you need our system there is no help? my oncologist told me that he would schedule my apts every 3 months instead of every 2 and that blood work that they normally do at every visit would be discontinued, until i was able to get my medicade in 12 more months. i feel as if they were doing unecessay ct scan every 2 months or now i just dont matter anymore because i cant afford the visits and blood work and ct scans. i am not cancer free nor or im not remission. its it just me or is the system screwed up?
i have breast cancer and have had chemo first because the tumor was growing at a rapid rate. then i had a radical mast. with 9 lymph nodes remove and was told after surgery that they were unable to get all the cancer and that it had spread into my lympatic system. i also have 3 spots on l lung and 4 on the other. had a biopsy on one of the spots the size of a dime, biopsy did not show cancer cells. i also was told that i would die from this but not tomorrow. have had 33 treatments of radaition. and im tired.
i am on disability, tried to get ssi so i would qualify for medicade. im not old enough to draw reg. social security but disabled. my home caught fire and insurance money was deposited in my checking account to do repairs on my home, i lived with family for 4 months. they went back and checked my ck. account and said i had too much money. i explained that my home owners insurance from the fire was placed in my account, i was told sorry about that but i had too much money. well my home was repaired and i guess they just expected me to pay my bills and live out in the yard. now i have 12 more months to wait before i qualify. im sure they will come up with some other type of reason for me not being able to draw medicade next.
i can understand some things and reasons but honestly this is the most redicidlous reason for not getting help. ive worked 33 years of my life and if i would have gotten ssi, they take all your life insurance benifits over 1,500.00. im sorry but when you get sick and need help, the system tries everything in the world to keep from helping someone. why!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a fear amongst some of the wealthy that if more middle class can pay for health insurance?

they will have to wait longer to their specialist? And if that is so, isn’t that selfish and greedy? And ant-Christian like? Will they agree that their middle class son should not be able to be part of a health care pool so they can see their specialist?
cadillac plans should be taxed. 25,000+ worth of benefits? yes, this should be taxed

Is there some way to pool people’s money so we don’t have to pay any insurance?

At the end of the year after all claims have been payed off what’s left is given back to people.
You would still pay insurance premiums. What I’m suggesting is if we make a profit at the end of the year that money is returned. And if necessary we’d raise the premiums to cover our costs.
